TEEN KILLED OVER $220 JORDANS

17-year-old Ballou High School School sophomore James Anthony Smith was shot and killed Monday in Washington, D.C. and his mother believes it was all over a pair of bright red Christmas Nike Air Jordan’s.

According to the Washington Post, all James wanted for Christmas was the $220 red J’s and his mother decided to give it to him as an early christmas gift.

His mother believes whoever killed her son took the sneakers because he was found on the street shoeless. He died two hours later at a hospital.
