Hip-hop superstars Common, LL Cool J and Lupe Fiasco graced the stage at the Grammy Nominations concert Wednesday night (Nov. 30) for a special tribute of ‘The Message’ by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.

Powerhouse rappers Rick Ross, Common, LL Cool J and Lupe Fiasco have been selected to join DJ Grandmaster Flash and Furious Five members Melle Mel and Scorpio for a special performance of ‘The Message’ during the Grammy Nominations Concert, airing live on CBS.

Most recently Lupe Fiasco appeared on “The Colbert Report,” before performing "Words I Never Said," the Midwest emcee encouraged every taxpaying citizen to question those in power, and spoke on Osama Bin Laden's killing. According to sources, with all the hype surrounding Bin Laden’s killing, Lupe is among the dozens of Hip Hop artists who have also sounded off on the killing of the form
