One of the worst starts to the week in Western New York history left an iconic bar burned to rubble and another massive piece of local history destroyed.

It looks like someone was in a hurry to get some ice cream.

The calendar says it is Spring, Mother Nature is starting to get the hint and there are somethings that are happening here in Western New York that prove Spring is back.

Today is the first official day of Spring and you can score yourself a free ice cream cone from Dairy Queen.

This Friday is Groundhog Day and while the world waits to see if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow, there is a great weather predictor here in New York State.

It's sad to hear that free cone day won't be happening this year at Dairy Queen. But...the good news is that there are a lot of local places opening up soon.
