Serena Williams responded to Ilie Nastase’s alleged racist comments about her unborn child with the most sassiest clap back on Monday (April 24).

According to Ebony, Nastase, who is a Romanian tennis legend, was at a press conference when someone brought up Williams’ pregnancy. He allegedly responded by saying, “Let’s see what color it has. Chocolate with milk?” His comments were in reference to Williams’ fiance, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, who is white. Williams recently announced that she was 20 weeks pregnant with Ohanian's baby.

Williams went on her Instagram account to address Nastase' comments in an epic post where she even quotes the late and great poet Maya Angelou's poem, "Still I Rise."

”It disappoints me to know that we live in a society where people like Ilie Nastase can make such racist comments towards myself and unborn child, and sexist comments against my peers,” she wrote. “This or anything else will not stop me from pouring love, light and positivity into everything I do."

"I am not afraid unlike you. You see, I am no coward," she added. "'Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom?'"

The International Tennis Federation has suspended Nastase while they further investigate into his alleged remarks.

“The ITF does not tolerate discriminatory and offensive language and behavior of any kind," said the federation in response to the allegations. "We are aware of alleged comments made by Romanian captain Ilie Nastase and have begun an immediate investigation so that we have the full facts of the situation before taking further and appropriate action."
