Coming off an amazing summer-like weekend there is one thing that you don't want to see on the road driving down next to you.

That would be one of those big loud booming salt trucks. Unfortunately, they are getting ready for the upcoming winter and they are on the roads.

Yikes..this is not what you want to see this week. A big ole slumbering salt truck making its rounds.

The good news is that the salt truck was only doing a dry run and was actually pulling into a diner so maybe they were just letting the truck run a bit before parking it for the next couple of weeks.

Looking ahead at the weather forecast, we are expecting a cool down as the week progresses and we might even see some light snowflakes late on Sunday but nothing that is going to stick to the ground.

The next chance of seeing some snow that will change the grass from green to white is most likely the end of next week.

We could even have some of the white stuff on the ground this Thanksgiving, but at least for now, the snowplows are just doing some dry runs getting ready for winter.
