The Buffalo Sabres won't (in all likelihood) make the playoffs for an 11th straight season, however, they have been far more fun to watch this season with young players like Tage Thompson, Rasmus Dahlin, Dylan Cozens and Peyton Krebs.

Krebs and Alex Tuch have been great additions to the lineup in 2022, as they both came over in the Jack Eichel trade in November of 2021.

Two games that Buffalo Sabres fans are looking forward to are the game at KeyBank Center against the Vegas Golden Knights, on March 10th. It's Eichel's return to Buffalo.

The other game happens just a few days after, on March 13th at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ontario against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

It's the return of the NHL's Heritage Classic, which happens every few years, usually between two Canadian teams. The Sabres are the first American-based team to play in the Heritage Classic.

But fans have been waiting to see what jersey the Sabres wear. Teams typically wear unique, throwback jerseys for these Heritage and Winter Classic games.

On Wednesday night, the Sabres Heritage Classic jerseys were leaked, and John Vogl of The Athletic tweeted out the sweaters.

The jerseys were leaked on the Shop One Buffalo website, but have since been taken down.

They're not overly creative in nature, but they're retro enough and safe. The shoulder patch is a nice touch.

What do you think of the jerseys?
