Buffalo’s Ray Davis Needs Your Help
To say that the Buffalo Bills have been on a roll would be an understatement. Even with all of the injuries and setbacks, the team is really rolling on all cylinders, with both sides of the ball performing at a high level.
Part of the top-notch performance that the Bills have been achieving belongs to the offense. Josh Allen is leading the team behind center and throwing to some great receivers like Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox, Quintin Morris, Keon Coleman, Amari Cooper, Mack Hollins, Curtis Samuel, and Khalil Shakir. They, of course, get tons of help from the running backs as well, and thanks to the performances of James Cook, Ray Davis, Ty Johnson, and Reggie Gilliam, the team is looking excellent this year.
We've seen some outstanding individual performances from several players, and one player in particular performed so well that he's in the running to receive a rather prestigious award from the league.
Ray Davis Has Been Nominated To Receive Rookie of the Week Honors
NFL Week 9 was good for the Bills; not only did the team squish the fish in front of 70,000 members of the Bills Mafia, but rookie running back Ray Davis had a fantastic game. Davis accounted for 90 yards of offense for the Bills, scoring two touchdowns, one of which was the longest TD reception made by a Bills running back since Week 17 of the 2012 season.
That performance Davis gave us was so good that the NFL nominated him for the NFL Week 9 Rookie of the Week.
While Davis has earned the nomination, he needs your help to win the award. Every week, the NFL allows fans to vote for the player they think deserves the honor. If Davis wins, he will join fellow Bills rookie Keon Coleman, who won the Week 7 Rookie of the Week Award.
Davis has some tough competition this week, but we know how the Bills Mafia does for the team - so go ahead and cast your vote for Ray Davis.
