Welp, I guess a lot of the law markers and big wigs got tired of getting caught in sex scandals and decided to look into making New York the first state to fully decriminalize sex work.

According to the New York Times, New York Senators Jessica Ramos and Julia Salazar introduced the bill at the New York State Assembly. If passed, the bill would make it legal to sell and buy sex under very "specific conditions."

So in this bill, regular prostitution is acceptable but prostitution in a school zone is still a crime.

I'm just as lost as you are but a lot of people are even thrilled about this and spoke during the assembly.

A supporter said:

“We are trying to change the lives of many New Yorkers that historically have been criminalized for using their bodies to survive,”

What? lol

What do you think?
