Remember when we all had to rush out to buy wipes, masks and cleaners? There was a huge shortage on the most popular products and even the knock off brands were gone. No matter your favorite brand, it was impossible to find them at various times in the pandemic.

The pandemic may be over, but there is a new concern over a possible "tridemic" as we worry about COVID, the flu and RSV cases surging in New York. Break out the cleaners again! But there is one particular cleaner that has been recalled in New York State that residents need to be aware of.

Pine-sol may be contaminated with a bacteria that can cause serious infections in humans. Recalled products will have a date code on the top of the bottle that begins with the prefix 'A4' followed by a five digit number less than "2-2-2-4-9."

Pine-Sol® Scented Multi-Surface Cleaners in Lavender Clean®, Sparkling Wave®, and Lemon Fresh scents, CloroxPro® Pine-Sol® All Purpose Cleaners, in Lavender Clean®, Sparkling Wave®, Lemon Fresh, and Orange Energy® scents, and Clorox® Professional™ Pine-Sol® Lemon Fresh Cleaners. Original Pine-Sol® (Pine scent) is not included in this recall.
