The lake effect snow is coming to Western New York this weekend and depending on where you live, you could see a dusting to several inches of snow.

It looks like the snow is set to start late on Saturday and continue all day on Sunday leaving several parts of Western New York under a couple of inches of snow.

Most of the snow will be in the Southern Tier with parts of Western New York will only see a dusting. Here is what Channel 4's Mike Cejka is predicting for Western New York this weekend.


Aaron Mentkowski from Channel 7 also is calling for several inches of snow on Sunday as well.

This will be quite the change of pace from what we saw here in Western New York last weekend. A record high was set in Buffalo last Saturday and this weekend will start with plenty of rain and then cold and snow by the weekend.

The cold weather will stay in Western New York for much of the week and the good news is that we shouldn't see any more snow until next weekend.
