NEW TEENA MARIE & DAUGHTER CD

Teena Marie passed unexpectedly on December 26, 2010 at only 54 years of age, but Alia Rose, Teena's daughter, was not about to allow her Mom's "BEAUTIFUL" voice to be  silenced. The Soul Singing Diva has a new CD being released this week, appropriately titled, "BEAUTIFUL"! 

According to blackamericaweb.com, Teena Marie's daughter, Alia Rose, helped with the final mix of the new CD while also appearing with her Mom, and Rick James daughter Ty, on a song called "RARE BREED".  Also according to an article on the blackamericaweb.com website, Rick James daughter Ty also appears on a remake of Curtis Mayfield's "Gimme Your Love".  Alia Rose, Teena Marie's daughter, also continues to honor her Mom, opening a Recording Studio in Hollywood with her friend and DJ, "Sydtha Kid".  The studio is called "Chateau Marie" and includes much of Teena Marie's home studio equipment, according to blackamericaweb.com.
