On this very day 04/19/94 one of the most celebrated Hip Hop albums was released Nas with Illmatic. It received 5 mics from the source magazine and changed the way rappers rhymed forever. I was in the 5th grade when this album dropped but still remember my Uncle bumping tracks like NY State of Mind, Lifes A B*tch and One Love. This album changed Hip Hop forever.
