Kobe Bryant Visits Manny Pacquiao at Wild Card Gym In Vegas

There’s word that Kobe Bryant dropped by to visit his friend Manny Pacquiao at Wild Card Gym in Hollywood This week.  He’s training for his upcoming fight with Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. 

According to digitaljournal.com. Pacquiao and the L.A. Lakers star go back to their promotional times and endorsement of Nike Sportswear.  Both are endorsers of the brand.

Kobe is a supporter of Manny.  He tries to pay his friend a visit when he can just before a major fight.

I happen to like Pacquiao. I think he’s a great fighter.  Can’t wait to see the Pacquiao  take on Floyd Mayweather, Jr. fight  set for next May.  That’s the fight to see.

Boxing runs in our family.  Many of my uncles were boxers. My mom hated the sport.  She didn’t like to see other beat up on her brothers.  She saw how the body and head blows affected them.

My uncle Fred loved the sport.  He knew Sugar Ray Leonard well. He was involved in the sport all of his life.  He boxed, trained and coached.  He even was schedule to coach in the Olympics before his death. They even named the gym in his honored following his death. It takes boxing to a whole new level.
