Juice Wrld steps forth to defend Michael Jackson.

Last night (March 10), the Chicago rapper took some time out to defend the singer a couple of weeks after HBO dropped their explosive docuseries Leaving Neverland, which tells the stories of two men who allegedly had underaged, sexual relationships with Jackson.

"Rip to the legend Michael Jackson let the legend rest and his legacy stand," Juice tweeted, addressing the wave of Jackson-focused conversation that's surfaced after the airing of the documentary.

Juice's statement received mixed reactions from his followers. Some agreed with the young rapper, who just dropped his sophomore album, Death Race for Love, last Friday (March 8). Meanwhile, others bashed him for the comment. While some people condemned the rapper's statement, it doesn't feel like Juice has yet to back down from his comment.

Juice joins the likes of T.I., Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco in a group of rappers who have spoken on Jackson recently. For his part, T.I. insinuated that the new Jackson documentary is an attempt to destroy one part of Black culture.

"Pierce Morgan a real one for this. Let this man speak for himself to defend his legacy," T.I. wrote in his caption, which applauded journalist Piers Morgan for his role in a Michael Jackson interview T.I. posted on Instagram. "Don’t just listen to one side and expect to find truth. Oh that’s right...Dead men can’t speak. So what was the point again? Destroy another strong black historical LEGEND?!?! It’s several examples of pedophilia in American History... if y’all pulling up all our old shit... we gotta examine ELVIS PRESLEY, HUGH HEPHNER,and a whole slew of others guilty of the same if not more!!! BUT WHY US all the time? There’s an agenda to destroy OUR CULTURE. #KingsThoughts."
