Bandits Star Dhane Smith Hosting Lacrosse Clinic In Buffalo
It's sometimes hard to accept this simple fact, but Buffalo is one of the great cities in America for sports. From little leagues to the pros, you can find just about every sport in Western New York at every level of competition, and that continues to help make Buffalo and Western New York one of the best places to live. Not only do we get to experience all sorts of sports, we get to do it in all of the seasons. From spring to summer, fall to winter, Buffalonians love when our favorite seasons come and go.
With the arrival of winter, that means Buffalo's favorite sport is here for the next few months. Now, you may think I am talking about football or hockey, but in fact, we're talking about Lacrosse. If you're a lacrosse fan then you already know what I'm talking about.
Lacrosse is big in the 716, and that's in no small part to the fact that the two-time NLL Champion Buffalo Bandits are right here in Western New York. It's so big that if you have a young person in your life who's into lacrosse, then they have an opportunity to learn from one of the best lacrosse players in North America.
Buffalo Bandits Dhane Smith Is Hosting Lacrosse Clinic
When you're learning a sport, it's not often that you have the opportunity to learn the sport from a two-time MVP who's won two consecutive championships with the hometown team, but that's exactly what's available in Buffalo this winter.
Dhane Smith, the Bandits 6'3 forward who won the NLL Finals MVP Award in 2023, is hosting a lacrosse clinic to help kids step up their game. While Smith is hosting the clinic, you can be sure to expect other Bandits stars to poke their head in as your son or daughter learns from one of the sport's great players.
The Dhane Smith Lacrosse Clinic is scheduled to have two sessions, February 17, 2025, for boys in grades 3-6 and March 3, 2025, for girls in grades 3-8 at the Epic Sports and Fun Center on Wehrle Dr. in Williamsville, New York.
Participants who do need to bring their own helmet, stick, and gloves for the clinic can register here on the Buffalo Junior Bandits website.
This sounds like a great opportunity for young lacrosse players to get some skills. Let's go Buffalo
