Janelle Monae Flexes and Crowns Herself in ‘Yoga’ Video

If you need a motivational pick-me-up, then watch Janelle Monae’s new video for “Yoga.” The song is a girl-power track with the R&B songbird singing empowering words of self-love.

In the clip, Monae is flexing her body like a yogi along with her gal pals as they show off choreographed moves that consist of leg lifts and back bends. In one scene, the Electric Lady is levitating and wearing a king’s crown while telling the haters to "Get off my areola.” Finally, Monae takes the dance party to a diner where the oh-so stylish Jidenna, a Wondaland Records artist, joins in on the fun.

"Yoga" will appear on an upcoming label compilation, Wondaland Presents: The Eephus, which is due out May 6.
