Jacquees has seen his popularity climb over the last few months. The newest Cash Money Records signee is working hard to make a name for himself and to be considred as one of the best, if not the best, R&B singers of all-time. The dreadhead crooner released a vlog of his experience in Charlotte, N.C. for CIAA weekend.

The weekend is a basketball tournament held by the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). However, over the last few years CIAA weekend has grown very popular in hip-hop culture. During Jacquees' time in Charlotte for one weekend, the singer managed to do a lot.

He performed at clubs during the night, woke up early with Diggy Simmons to inspire the youth during a high school and middle school tour, performed with Rich Homie Quan at his concert with Young Doplh, visited 2 radio stations, dinner with French Montana and even did a meet and greet for all the fans that drove hours to see him.

"I've been working real hard," he explained to XXL. "[I've] Been working real hard and I just wanted to have a good time at CIAA. I did more than just perform at clubs though, I went and inspired the youth at a couple schools too, shoutout team Jacquees for being so heavy in Charlotte it was a wave"

Quees released his latest mixtape, Mood, last month and it featured guest appearances from the likes of Dej Loaf, Birdman, Kevin Gates, Young Scooter, Rich Homie Quan and Kirko Bangz. If you don't know too much about Jacquees, read our recent interview with him.
