The Buffalo Bills are slowly putting together their team for next season and one of the leaders of the defense could be on his way back.

The Buffalo Bills opted not  resign safety Micah Hyde after his contract ran out at the end of the season. In 2023, Hyde played in 14 regular season games, recording 54 total tackles and two interceptions. He also played in both of the Bills' postseason games last season.

The Bills didn't resign him because his demand was more than they were willing to pay at that point, but during the NFL Owners meeting, reporters from WKBW asked Bills general manager Brandon Beane if there was a chance Hyde could return.

It would all come down to what salary Hyde is looking for. Hyde signed with the Bills in 2017 and became an All-Pro safety along with Jordan Poyer. Poyer left the Bills this offseason and signed with the Miami Dolphins.

As for the Bills, they made a couple of moves before heading to Orlando for the owner's meeting this week.

There could still be a couple of more moves made before the NFL Draft in April, but the Bills will get some more needed cap space after June 1st as well.

This is where they could add a veteran, like they did last year with Leonard Floyd, and bring in some highly skilled older veterans on cheaper contracts.
