It is opening weekend for the Buffalo Bisons and they will do something on Friday that they have never done before.

The Buffalo Bisons have been around in one form or another for 140 years, and this Friday they will do something they have never done before.

They will kick off the season on March 29th. According to Buffalo Bison's Brad Bisbing, this is the earliest the team has ever opened a season in their team history.

The Bison will be home on Saturday and Sunday as well for opening weekend. On those days kids under 14 get a free ticket when an adult buys one ticket from the Bisons' box office.

This is just the start to the season and the Bisons have all sorts of promotions set for this season.
