After 20 years of being a season ticket holder, many think the Bills should give a nicer gift.

After all, it's expensive to buy season tickets to the Bills. The average cost for a single-season ticket is $1,283. Chances are, you're not buying one ticket, either. Most people buy at least two and go with a friend or family member. It's not just the cost of tickets, either. It's parking, the concessions, and, to be honest, it's an entire day to go to a Bills game with tailgating and traffic. The point is it's a massive money and time commitment.

So, when someone makes that financial and time commitment for 20 years in a row, it's a pretty impressive accomplishment. Season ticket holders are the lifeblood of a pro sports team. They guarantee tickets are sold, so teams push hard every year for season ticket renewals and new holders, usually while increasing prices.

Season ticket holders are important, so it's important for the team to make sure they take good care of them. They do this with discounts, rewards, and acknowledging long time ticket holders with special incentives.

However, the incentive for 20 yards seems a bit underwhelming.

Joe Platzer has been a loyal Bills season ticket holder for 20 years. This is what he received for being such a loyal fan.

Now, as far as I know, nothing else was provided. Maybe something is missing here, or more is to come? I do not know. However, if this is all they provide to loyal season ticket holders after 20 years, do you think it was enough?

While I know some will say he should be thankful for what he got or that he got anything, many agree with Joe.

This team is building a new stadium that is charging PSL licenses to buy a season ticket. That's forcing many long-time season ticket holders out of the game financially. This is a team that profits hundreds of millions of dollars a year. Many believe they should provide much more.
