Wind Advisory Issued For Parts Of Western New York
Hold on to your hats today because it will be very windy in parts of Western New York.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for parts of the southern part of Western New York that will last until around noon today.
EXTRA: WILL IT BE CLOUDY FOR THE TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE?
The advisory is in place for Chautauqua and Southern Erie counties including the cities of Jamestown, Orchard Park, and Springville.
Winds could gust up to 50 miles per hour and be sustained between 20 and 30 miles per hour.

Rain showers will move into the area from the West later this afternoon.
After rain today we will see a bit of cool down for the rest of the week with the temperatures falling into the 40s for the rest of the week. It should remain dry for the rest of the week and into early next week.
