New York Governor Has Special Message For Football Fans
The Buffalo Bills are getting ready to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday in London and the kickoff is going to be at 9:30 am local time.
Many fans were hoping to get together at local restaurants and bars but New York's liquor law doesn't allow for the sale of alcohol before 10 am unless businesses have a special permit.

This week, New York Governor Kathy Hochul issued a decree that waived the waiting period for special permits so local bars and restaurants could get the permit to serve alcohol starting at 8 am on Sunday only.
The Governor, who grew up just outside the City of Buffalo in Hamburg, offered up a special message to football fans across New York.
See, even the Governor knows that only one NFL team is a true New York team. Both the Giants and Jets play their home games just over the border in New Jersey.
So if you want to root for New York's football team, give a "Go Bills"
Several local bars and restaurants have already announced they will be opening up early.
