Update: Commercial traffic is slowly returning to normal this morning along the bridges heading into Canada from Western New York. A computer issue caused massive delays at the border for commercial traffic on Monday and Tuesday. Canadian Officials were able to get the computer problem fixed on Tuesday afternoon, and traffic flow is slowly moving back to normal levels.

The Canadian Border Services Agency says the outage has been partially resolved, but commercial drivers should expect continued delays.

"The outage has been partially resolved, allowing most shipment processing to proceed. Commercial drivers may continue to experience delays as we resume normal processing operations. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience experienced."

You could still see delays around the bridges this morning as that traffic slowly returns to normal.

If your morning commute takes you on the 190, you could see some major delays this morning. At the time of this writing, commercial traffic heading over the Peace Bridge is at a standstill, and that is causing traffic to back up on the 190 near the Peace Bridge exit.

We don't know the reason why commercial trucks are not being allowed into Canada, but the standstill has caused a backup of tractor-trailers along the 190.

Massive Traffic Backup On The 190 Near the Peace Bridge

Here is a live look at the traffic on the Peace Bridge heading into Canada from the U.S.

There are already congestion concerns along the 190 northbound this morning.

We checked the US Customs and Border Patrol website, and it says that all traffic is good to go, but traffic is not moving. You can check out their website HERE
