We had a brief break in the wild weather on Friday, but we are back to some severe weather heading our way this afternoon across Western New York. There is an elevated risk of a possible tornado this afternoon for parts of the 716.

Severe Weather Back In Western New York

After a mild day on Friday, we are dealing with another storm front that will bring severe weather across the region today. Rain, Thunderstorms, and gusty winds are all possible today, mainly in the afternoon and into this evening.

There is also an elevated risk of a tornado for Western New York as well.


Snow Possible This Weekend In Western New York

The weather front that is bringing the risk of a tornado is also bringing much cooler weather to the area. We are going to see our temperatures drop as the day progresses, and in fact, temperatures could get so low that the rain could turn into snow.

The good news is that the snow is not going to stick, but we could see flurries late tonight and into Sunday morning. Rain is expected for part of Sunday before we dry out. It will remain dry, sunny, and cool for Monday with a high of only 38.
