Buffalo is not going to like this one bit.

One of the first things you will learn in Western New York is that we take pride in our food and how we eat it. Here, we are known as the Home Of The Buffalo Wing, invented by Teresa Bellissimo. The famous wings were first prepared at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York, who owned the bar at that time with her husband back in the ‘60s.

And in Buffalo, there is only one right answer as to what you eat your wings with.

Other than the side of celery, the only thing that should be on your plate of wings is blue cheese.

NOT ranch.

Being a Buffalo transplant, I learned the hard way that your go-to choice should not be ranch, but rather blue cheese.

Simply because it’s the right answer.

However, if you clicked onto People Magazine today, you may have noticed that it auto loaded to a home page featuring Hidden Valley Ranch, going as far as customizing the mouse cursor.

Take a look at the video below.

It is actually a pretty cool idea but Hidden Valley Ranch, and even though we prefer blue cheese with our wings, you can appreciate all the things that Hidden Valley Ranch has done in the Western New York community.

Remember when they took over Southern Tier in Buffalo, New York and turned it into a dive bar? People were diving through tables last year, and you can see some of those photos here.
