Why Post Malone Is Touring In This New York City
Post Malone has turned into a country favorite since his first country music debut at the CMA Awards with fellow country stars Morgan Wallen and HARDY.
The three of them performed a tribute to Joe Diffie during the 2023 CMA Awards, and you can see that here.
Post Malone's First Country Hit
Since then, Post Malone and Morgan Wallen teamed up to release the song that many people are calling “The Song Of The Summer.” It’s called I Had Some Help, and it was the quickest climb to No. 1 on the Country Airplay Chart since 2007. The song also became Post Malone’s first No. 1 on the chart.
More Country Music On The Way From Post
Now, he has a new song out with Blake Shelton, and Post Malone is preparing to release a country album on August 16.
The album, F-1 Trillion, is the same name as his tour, which begins the following month. Many people were shocked that he didn’t opt to come to Texas, considering he’s into country music now, but he does have one New York City added to his tour plans.
Special Tour Stop Planned For Post Malone
One of the first stops that Post Malone has on his tour is in Syracuse, NY on September 14, and there’s some significance behind that tour date.
Post Malone is actually from Syracuse!
Born Austin Richard Post on July 4, 1995, he lived in Central New York until he was 9 years old. Then, Post and his family moved to Grapevine, Texas after his dad was offered a job to work as the assistant director of food and beverage at AT&T Stadium for the Dallas Cowboys.
Maybe that’s why Post is such a big Dallas Cowboys fan.
