The Sun Is Giving Us Another Sign That Summer Is Almost Over
Now, if you know anything about the seasons, then you know that the amount of daylight we see does really change every day. It's easy to forget that the sun starts setting later and later every day, starting near the end of June.
However, that will be harder to ignore now that those of us in Buffalo and Western New York are experiencing a summer milestone on Monday, August 25, 2025.
According to data from the National Weather Service, the sun will set after 8 pm for the last time this year on Monday, August 25th.

This seems just like another sign that summer is almost over. There is still plenty of time to do a few more things before the warm weather exits Western New York, but the clock is ticking.
