The fall season is closer than you think.

The unofficial end of summer is less than one month away, when Labor Day Weekend is over. The official start of fall will be roughly three weeks later, which is when all the fall events and activities comes back to Western New York.

Haunted houses/hayrides, along with pumpkin picking, apple picking, kids rides and face painting are some of the most popular things to do every fall for all ages. This year, you can do all of them in one place with a team-up of two great establishments.

The Great Pumpkin Farm has teamed up with The Haunted Forests to bring The Haunted Forests to Clarence. The Great Pumpkin Farm will still have all the same great attractions, just adding a haunted hayride, trail and maze on the property.

The Great Pumpkin Farm also has its opening day all set: September 16th is the first day, according to their website. That's a Saturday, which is normally when they re-open for the year.

The Great Pumpkin Farm and The Haunted Forests are both hiring for the Clarence location, as they need a variety of positions, such as bakery shop workers, ticket takers, parking lot directors, scare actors, tractor drivers and more.

The Great Pumpkin Farm and The Haunted Forests will go into the first week of November, before closing for the 2023 season. That means we have just two months of fun!

As a reminder, weekdays are free at The Great Pumpkin Farm. You will need a ticket for the weekends, as well as Columbus Day.

We're getting closer to the start of autumn.
