The Buffalo Bisons Release Exciting Promotional Calendar For 2026 Season

Baseball season is almost here, and the Buffalo Bisons are getting ready with some incredible promotional theme nights.

Spring will be here soon. The weather is on the verge of getting warmer, the birds are coming back, and the Shamrock Shake has made its return to McDonald's. So obviously, that means soon we will have baseball back in Buffalo.

Is AAA Baseball better just because of the promotional nights?

It's nice to have a professional team in your city, but having a farm team, might be even better. With Major League Baseball, you get professional baseball. But with the minor league teams, you get baseball with a fun experience. They get to do some crazy promotions to sell those tickets, and it makes it so much fun!

Promotional events that are returning in 2026

Some events seem to sell out every year, and many of them are returning to Sahlen Field this season.  Star Wars Night (June 13) is a fan favorite every year, and it will be returning for their 17th season. It's your chance to dress up like your favorite Star Wars character and enjoy a post-game show and fireworks display. They even have special Darth Maul-themed jerseys this year.

Harry Potter fans will be excited that Harry Potter Night (Aug. 22) is coming back, too! Represent your school by wearing your robes and then stick around for another postgame fireworks show.

Other fun promotional nights include  Vintage Movie Night (July 11), Friendship Bracelet Night with a performance by DJ Swiftie (June 12), Play catch with dad on the field for Father’s Day (June 21), and there will be another Postgame Drone Show on July 25^th.

New events this season

This year the Bisons will be holding a new themed night on August 8th for K-Pop Night and K-Pop Night & Women in Sports Night. There will also be 3-game ‘America 250^th Celebration’ Weekend, May 15-17, which will include Fireworks on May 15^th and Armed Forces Day on May 16^th
