The Buffalo Bills Quietly Fine One of Their Players
The Buffalo Bills (6-6) will play a gigantic game on Sunday afternoon/evening, when they travel to Arrowhead stadium to play the Kansas City Chiefs (8-4). Kickoff is at 4:25 pm.
The Bills do have a few advantages going into this game. They face a Chiefs team who will be without four starters, mainly starting offensive tackle Donovan Smith and running back Isiah Pacheco. The Bills are also coming off a bye week, while the Chiefs played this past Sunday night in Green Bay.
The Bills need this win to stay in the playoff picture. They are coming off multiple devastating losses, with the last one being in Philadelphia against the Eagles two weeks ago.
The Bills lost 37-34 in overtime. During the loss, a video of Jordan Phillips and Shaq Lawson confronting a fan in the stands went viral, with Lawson apparently shoving the fan before they were escorted away.
According to Tom Pelissero of The NFL Network, the Bills fined Lawson for his altercation with that Eagles fan. The sum of money was not disclosed.
Lawson and Phillips posted on Instagram that the fan made threats to their family, which crossed the line. They also said that despite the Bills asking Lincoln Financial Field security to remove the fan during the game, they never did.
The matter, however, is resolved.
The Bills will need to win all five of their remaining games to assure they make the postseason. They will likely make it if they win four of five games, but likely miss if they lose two more games.
