Buffalo Bills Finally Release Statement on Sean McDermott
We only knew that Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott was fired because of a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Terry Pegula in the Buffalo Bills have moved on from McDermott as of Monday morning just 2 days after the Buffalo Bills lost the AFC divisional round to the Denver Broncos. Fans across Western New York are equally as shocked and sad that the 9-year head coach will be leaving Western New York. Who si going to be the new head coach of the Buffalo Bills? Would Sean McDermott have been fired if he made it to the AFC Championship?
Is Brandon Beane going to still be the General Manager of the Buffalo Bills?
Yes, in fact he was even promoted. Now, Brandon Beane will be the President of Football Operations AND General Manager of the Buffalo Bills.
The Bills finally released a statement since fans found out that McDermott had been fired this morning.
Terry Pegula, who also owns the Buffalo Sabres, had a few weeks back fire the general manager for the Buffalo Sabers and since they have found some major success over the past couple of weeks since the firing. Maybe Terry is thinking that the same will be done here in Buffalo? We do know that Josh Allen has been in Buffalo for quite some time and one of the lingering themes is that Buffalo is wasting his prime. Maybe that is the reason that Terry has decided to let go of McDermott.
The Buffalo Bills returned early Sunday morning from Denver and later in the morning cleared out their lockers for the final time in the current Highmark Stadium.
