Bills Mafia’s Cringiest Fans
The Buffalo Bills had a heck of a win last night over the Baltimore Ravens. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Bills Mafia.
The Bills got a miracle last night
For Bills fans, the season opener was ugly for about 56 minutes. The defense looked bad. It felt like they couldn't stop anything. The offense had its moments, but it certainly looked like it was trying to knock a little rust off, too. Fans were understandably not happy.
Then, in the last 4 minutes of the game, the Bills pulled off one of the most miraculous comebacks in the history of the NFL. Bills Mafia is still trying to comprehend what happened.
But the internet keeps receipts. There were tons of people who were venting on social media and acting out in the stands, and the whole world saw it. Unfortunately, that stuff makes us all look bad.
People were understandably upset....but...
Anytime your football team gets 40 points put up on it, there's plenty of reason for concern. It's understandable to think that there's something wrong with your defense when they can't find a solution to a problem like Derrick Henry. It's not understandable to just give up on them and to say that you're just not a fan of the team anymore because they can't tackle one of the most powerful backs in the league.
Throwing things at players on the field is also not cool. While it may have been funny for fans to throw certain toys on the field near Tom Brady when he was still with the Patriots, throwing water bottles at players in the middle of a play isn't.
And don't even get me started on the fan who put his hands on the players on the field and then acted surprised when they pushed back. That's just not cool.
We have great fans in Buffalo. Most of them are good sports who understand sportsmanship, but some of these fans are the epitome of what you shouldn't do as a fan.
