The Buffalo Bills are getting ready to play the New York Jets at Highmark Stadium this Sunday. Believe it or not, it'll be the first AFC East game at home this season.

The Bills are atop the AFC East, with a one-game lead over the Miami Dolphins. Buffalo is also the number one seed in the AFC, holding the head-to-head tiebreaker with the Kansas City Chiefs. Both the Bills and Chiefs are 9-3.

The Bills were getting healthier, when they got Tre'Davious White back on Thanksgiving against the Detroit Lions, but that's when edge rusher Von Miller was hurt. After the thinking he only had a lateral meniscus tear, it was discovered he actually had ACL damage after exploratory surgery and is now out for the season.

On Friday, the Bills announced two more starters would miss Sunday's game against the Jets.

Both defensive tackle Jordan Phillips and fullback Reggie Gilliam have been declared out for this Sunday.

The good news is that linebacker Matt Milano, who did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, still has a chance to play.

Milano being able to play will be critical, since the Bills defense is a much different unit if he or Tremaine Edmunds aren't in there.

As for the Jets, they will once again be starting quarterback Mike White.

White is 1-1 as a starter but has thrown the ball much more effectively than second-year QB Zach Wilson, who was benched. White's only game against the Bills was last season, where he threw four interceptions.

The Bills defense is hoping for a similar result. Kickoff is at 1 pm in Orchard Park on Sunday.
