High Winds are causing Power outages in and around Buffalo

Once I heard that there would be a High Wind Warning for pretty much the majority of the day, I know my Power was in trouble. Every time the winds kick heavy I lose Power at my house. Yes there is a High Wind Warning until  in place for a majority of Western New York until 5 p.m. Friday.

According to National Grid, more than 2,500 customers do not have power. Close to 1,900 National Grid customers in North Tonawanda do not have power.

Power is expected to be restored in the North Tonawanda area later this morning and this just in because of the power outages, West Seneca West Middle School is closed.
