According to News Reports, Hamburg Police are investigating the armed robbery of a local gas station, and are looking for your help in finding the suspect. They're saying the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

The armed robbery happened around 8:19 p.m. Wednesday at a gas station in Hamburg, NY.  Reports say the man showed a semi-automatic handgun to the clerk and demanded all the money.

News Reports say he then took off in a stolen 2010 maroon or dark red Ford Edge -- that had a North Dakota license plate with the number JYW439. Police say there was at least one other person in the vehicle, believed to be a female in her twenties.

On Friday, Hamburg Police identified the suspect as Jesse N. Bettencourt of Brockton, Massachusetts and announced that they're working with members of several police agencies in North Dakota in order to quickly find Bettencourt. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Hamburg Police posted the photo to the department Facebook page on Wednesday and are asking anyone with information to call police at 648-5111.
