It has been a while since I had to buy diapers, but I can remember how expensive they can be, especially if you have to buy them for more than one child. There is an organization called "Every Bottom Covered", which is like a food bank but it's set up for diaper assistance.

"Every Bottom Covered" is the only diaper bank in Western New York and they provide families with diapers, wipes, and other family needs. This is perfect timing for an initiative like this, because of the number of people that are out of work or people that maybe had to work fewer hours because of the pandemic.

A recent study was done by Huggies and the National Diaper Bank Network, that's shows,1 and 3 families in the United States experience "diaper need", this basically explains that a family may not have to resources to have enough diapers to keep a baby or toddler consistently clean and dry. As we all know this can lead to many problems, diaper rash, and infections, just to name a couple.

Univera Healthcare is providing $10,000 in financial support to "Every Bottom Covered" to help families around Buffalo and Western New York. Families that are in need of assistance can visit the Delevan Grider Community Center for enrollment of all children in the household under the age of 3-years old. Anyone that is looking to make donations or get information about the organization can click here.
