Foxy Brown wants it known that she is not endorsing Donald Trump. The veteran rhymer was royally dragged on Twitter after it was reported that she backs Donald Trump as the best candidate for president.

According to the New York Daily News, Brown, who is a lifelong Democrat, allegedly said that she loves Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, but is “giving a big shout out” to the GOP front-runner because she is impressed with his ability to "get things done.”

“No matter how many people sabotage his campaign, it keeps growing and growing and growing,” she reportedly told NYDN. “I know so many people won’t agree with me and will try to change my mind, but I’m a smart girl. I’m excited…I haven’t been this excited in so long.

“I know people say he’s a racist, but that’s just crazy.”

On Wednesday (March 16), Foxy went to Instagram to clarify her remarks. She also accused the NYDN of misquoting her to create a clickbait story.

"I AM IN NO WAY ENDORSING TRUMP!!!!! They Tried It[sic] Wrong One! What I Said Verbatim Was Trump Had Tenacity, Much Like I Said HILLARY CLINTON I LOVE DEARLY And BERNIE SANDERS I Absolutely ADORE!" she writes. "What Was Supposed To Be A Celebratory Interview (About Me Receiving A HISTORIC KEY TO MY HOMETOWN IN BROOKLYN) Turned Into A Trump Grabbing HEADLINE Cuz That's What Sells Papers."

"Per Usual, The MEDIA Sensationalizes Everything, Yet NO Mention Of My Glowing Remarks Regarding HILLARY CLINTON Or My Profound Respect And Admiration For BERNIE SANDERS. SHAME ON THE MEDIA!!!!!!!!" she added.
