"A flood watch is in effect for all eight counties of Western New York until Tuesday afternoon.

Totals will range from 1 to 1.5 inches across the area, with some areas going above those numbers.Temperatures will also climb into the 40s for a part of the day, bringing melting ice.With the precipitation and runoff, smaller creeks and rivers will be at risk for flooding, though it should be minor.

Later on tonight the change will take place as we switch to snow"
