With people all over America getting ready to celebrate the 249th birthday of the United States, folks nationwide are making preparations for a big celebration. Especially with Independence Day falling on a Friday, you can be all but assured we're going to see displays of freedom far and wide.

One of the key things people will be doing is shooting off fireworks.

Now, while some people might complain about the home use of fireworks, and even try to discourage you from doing it, I'm here to tell you to not listen to those folks.

This is America and nothing screams true Red, White, and Blue freedom like then expending explosives.

Communities far and wide will celebrate America's birthday with fireworks displays all over the nation, and so will people on their streets from sea to shining sea.

So, as the Francis Scott Key wrote in the Defence of Fort M'Henry, which ultimately became the lyrics of The Star-Spangled Banner, let us all fire our home explosives so they can burst in the air as proof that our flag was still there.
