Farrah Franklin Is Open to a Destiny’s Child Reunion If Beyonce Calls Her [VIDEO]
It’s been a week and we are still talking about Beyoncé’s historic performance at Coachella last weekend. Of course, one of the many highlights from the concert was the Destiny’s Child reunion with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
While it’s always good to see the three ladies back onstage again, former Destiny’s Child member Farrah Franklin says she’s down to join Queen Bey herself.
Franklin was a member of Destiny’s Child in 2000 before abruptly leaving the group after six months (she was formally introduced in the “Say My Name” video). She and ex-Destiny’s Child singer Farrah Franklin replaced LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett after they left the group a year prior.
Franklin sang the praises of Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle's performance at Coachella, but she added that she's open for a reunion with her and the ladies if the opportunity presented itself.
"If they opportunity arose, I wouldn't say no," Franklin told TMZ. "If I asked to come back and perform at Coachella, or any other performances, of course I would."
"It would be a blessing for us to get together [and] reunite and put all of the negative in the past," she added. "We are all adults now and I know that the fans would love to see it. I think it would be a good thing."
"Call me," Franklin concluded.
Beyoncé is set to deliver her second performance at Coachella tonight (April 21). There's no word if she's going to bring any surprise guests onstage. Unfortunately, Queen Bey's concert will not be live streamed.
