According to Complex A new initiative from the University of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary set to test whether scent detection dogs can correctly sniff out COVID19 in people.

Beginning with eight dogs the lab will expose the dogs to the virus in a lab setting through saliva and uring samples over a 3-week span. if the dogs are able to detect the difference between each sample in a lab setting they more testing will be done to see if they can sniff out the virus in sick people

Note that dogs have 50 times the smell receptors of humans (300 million versus 6 million) and Dogs are already used to detect other diseases.
