Chrissy Teigen Bowed Down to Beyonce & Called Her ‘My Queen’ at the Grammys
Chrissy Teigen is our spirit animal. Whether she's live tweeting flight horror stories or soliciting baby names on Twitter, the model/cookbook writer knows how to make the world laugh when it's hard to even crack a smile sometimes. Tuesday night (January 30) on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she also became the best guest.
After talking about being pregnant with her baby boy (she's five months along!) and getting flustered because this was her first time as a guest on the show, Fallon brought up the topic of the Grammys.
"Is there anyone where you geek out anymore or freak out?" he asked.
"There's nobody like seeing Beyonce in person," she responded without hesitation. "It's just so incredible. "She just emits this aura that's spectacular." She then continued, "I took her hands and I got down on my knees, and I was like 'Sorry to bother you, my queen.'" After a mortified pause, she added: "Who says that?!"
Meanwhile, her hubby John Legend was "bro-fiving" Jay Z. Fallon asked if it got easier seeing stars since Legend is a 10-time Grammy winner, but she admitted to clamming up every time she saw Queen Bey. And we don't blame her!
