Chris Brown on Rape Allegations: “I Don’t Have to Explain Any of This Bulls*!t”
Chris Brown is once again denying the rape allegations leveled against him during his recent trip to Paris. He does so in a new video showing the making of the music video that his trip to Paris was originally for.
In the new video, which appears to be a preview of a visual for an unnamed song, Brown dismisses the rape allegations he's been facing.
"My mom and grandma always said, 'The Lord can give you a gift and he can take it away,'" Brown says in the video preview he shared to Twitter on Thursday night (Jan. 31.) "I feel like I don’t have to explain any bullshit or any lie that somebody is perpetrating or portraying me as. So, for me, it’s like—alright cool, I came out there to do a job and that’s what I did. We gon' shoot this muthafuckin' video!"
In the clips from the new preview, we see Brown smiling and dancing around Paris before we hear news clips documenting the new allegations against Brown. As we mentioned up top, it looks like this was some behind-the-scenes footage from the shooting of a new video.
As previously reported, a woman accused Brown and two members of his team of holding her hostage and raping her multiple times in their Paris hotel room last month. The three men were arrested, but were released 48 hours later with no charges and approval to leave the country, as police found the alleged victim's statement to be questionable. Chris has since returned to the States and filed a defamation suit against the woman, who is going by the pseudonym Karima. She insists that the investigation will continue.
