Yes, the weather in Western New York will turn much colder by Wednesday and there is accumulating snow forecasted for this Friday.

However, the last 24 hours have been really nice. 50-plus degree temperatures and we're getting closer to the arrival of spring in Buffalo, which is such a special time of the year.

When you think of the weather getting warmer, you imagine all the fun outdoor activities coming back to Western New York. Barbecues are something we love to do when the weather gets warmer, and the number one BBQ chicken in Western New York is Chiavetta's.

Luckily, you don't have to wait for pop-up Chiavetta's chicken.

According to their Facbeook page, Chiavetta's will be holding four pop-up BBQ's in Western New York this week, from Thursday to Sunday.

They will be in Hamburg three of those days, and Depew for one of them, which will be on Friday.

  • Thursday from 12-6 pm, they will be at the Old Time Baptist Church in Hamburg on Camp Road.
  • Friday from 12-6 pm at the Made in America Store in Depew on Transit Road.
  • Saturday from 2-6 pm at the Sons of American Legion #527 in Hamburg on Memorial Drive.
  • Sunday from 12-6 at St. Mary's On The Lake in Hamburg on Lake Shore Drive.

Nothing hits the spot quite like a Chiavetta's chicken BBQ on a weekend afternoon, so definitely be on the lookout, especially if you're in Hamburg this weekend.

The warmer weather is getting closer.
