Buffalo Man Injured in Shooting Tuesday Afternoon
A Buffalo man was injured yesterday in a shooting, according to WGRZ. A 45-year-old man was shot just before 5:30 pm on Tuesday, January 13, 2021. According to the Buffalo Police Department, the incident happened on Genesee Street, in the 2200 block. The man was transported to Erie County Medical Center in a private vehicle. Second Buffalo Shooting in as Many Days
Hopes for a less violent 2021 and winter could potentially be dashed. This is the second shooting in two days, this week alone. On Sunday, a South Buffalo man was fatally shot, on January 10, 2021, according to WGRZ. That shooting came on the heels of a murder-suicide in South Buffalo. These incidents of violence are disheartening to me.
Murder-Suicide in South Buffalo Kicks Off Three Shooting Incidents in Four Days
Sadly, the past few days have been filled with gun violence. There was another shooting in south Buffalo. Police in Buffalo are investigating a murder-suicide in south Buffalo that happened on the night of Friday, January 8, according to WKBW. Officers with the Buffalo Police Department found a 27-year-old woman deceased first. They then found a 47-year-old man dead in Hamburg, who police believe was the shooter.
