Buffalo Drops a Close One to Arizona 30 – 32
The Buffalo Bills lost a hard-fought game to the Arizona Cardinals at the very last minute.
The Bills played fairly well in this back and forth contest with the Cardinals.
Josh Allen had 32 completions out of 49 pass attempts, going for 284 yards.
Allen, who also caught a touchdown pass from Wide Receiver Isaiah MacKenzie, tossed 2 touchdown passes to Cole Beasley and Stefon Diggs, but he also had 2 interceptions as well.
Buffalo's ground game shrugged again this week, only gaining a total of 73 yards between 3 different ball carriers.
The Bills defense tried to put the Cardinals in check, but in the end, they weren’t able to hold on.
The Cardinals running game was very effective gaining a total of 217 yards. Running Back Kenyan Drake led both teams, gaining 100 rushing yards on 16 attempts.
Arizona Quarterback Kyler Murray went 22 for 32, gaining 245 yards. Even though Murray threw a later interception that was snagged by Buffalo’s Jordan Poyer, he came through in the clutch by completing a hail mary touchdown pass to DeAndre Hopkins with 2 seconds left on the clock.
Ultimately the clock ran out on the Bills, allowing the Cardinals to secure the win.
Believe it or not, this is only the 11th time Buffalo and Arizona have played each other since the Bills entered the league in 1970. According to NFL Stats Central, Buffalo leads the all-time series with 7 wins and 5 losses.
