It's not a stretch to say that Buffalo and Western New York is the best place in the country for local breweries. Anywhere from the City of Buffalo to Rochester, and down to the southern tier and up to Niagara County, breweries are everywhere.

Just in the City of Buffalo, there are places like Thin Man, Big Ditch, Community Beer Works and Resurgence, who all offer fantastic craft beers and tons of taps.

Another great brewery is Pressure Drop.

Located in the First Ward at The Barrel Factory, Pressure Drop has been around in Buffalo since 2017, and offers west coast-inspired craft beers and creations. They specialize in IPA's and fruity sours, and now, they will have a second location all to themselves.

According to their Facebook page, Pressure Drop Brewing will soon be opening their new location on Elmwood Avenue in the City of Buffalo!

The location will be 1672 Elmwood Avenue, which is down the road from Buffalo State College and a short drive from the 198 and 190.

Pressure Drop's new location will also have a food menu, as they are currently hiring for their new location; looking for cooks.

Pressure Drop is one of my favorite breweries in Buffalo. I'm partial to sour beers, and they have a great selection of those, and also some of the most creative can designs and beer names.

This new location looks amazing and should be popular once they open. There's no set date yet, but it appears like it's happening in the next few weeks.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
