BREAKING: Explosion Destroys Home This Morning In Lackawanna

NEWS 4 Buffalo (WIVB-TV) reports this morning that Lackawanna Police have confirmed that an explosion had occurred in a residential area on Bedford Avenue in Lackawanna.

People living within close proximity of the blast felt it.

“My house in Lackawanna felt like someone slammed into it,” one individual, Gabrielle, told WIVB.

The explosion was felt for miles. One of my co-workers told me she was woken up by the blast, which violently shook her entire house. WIVB reports it could be felt all the way in West Seneca this morning. Even in West Seneca, the explosion was evident.

It’s not clear what caused this explosion. It's been confirmed that 1 person has been killed in the blast.
