This weekend it is going to be cold in Western New York. How cold? A cold we haven't felt in a long time.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo is calling for a very cold weekend. This will be the first time temperature will be below normal for the region since late December.

We are looking at highs of only 23 degrees on Saturday and 26 degrees on Sunday. The lows for the weekend will be around 16 degrees.

The good news this weekend is that there will not be any snow. We will see mostly cloudy skies which will make for good days to hit the slopes or trails. Just remember to bundle up.

The next chance of snow in the area comes up next Monday in the afternoon.
