Bills Ground Seahawks 44 – 34
The Bills offense and defense were firing on all cylinders as Buffalo took down the high-flying Seahawks in a game that had Seattle favored to win.
Buffalo improves to 7 wins and 2 losses, giving them the 3rd best win/loss record in the AFC. The last time the Bills were 7-2 was in 1992 when Buffalo earned a trip to their 4th straight Super Bowl, Super Bowl XXVIII.
Josh Allen played one of his best games this year, completing 31 out of 38 passes, throwing for 415 yards, with 3 touchdowns to Gabriel Davis, Isaiah McKenzie, and Kevin Tyler. Allen added a rushing touchdown as well.
The Bills defense also stepped up in a big way by getting 4 takeaways and sacking Russell Wilson 7 times. Both Jordan Poyer and Tre White were able to grab interceptions, while AJ Klein had 2 sacks.
This is only the 14th time Buffalo and Seattle have faced each other since the Seahawks joined the NFL as an expansion team in 1976. According to NFL records, Seattle leads the all-time series with 8 wins and 6 losses.
Next week Buffalo takes its 3 game win streak on the road to face the Arizona Cardinals.
